NRG have managed a very promising start to the 2026 VALORANT season. They finished third in the VCT Kickoff event and added another bronze medal from the Masters Santiago. But despite the early success, NRG failed to start Stage 1 well and lost to FURIA in the first week.
KRU Esports are on the opposite trajectory. Following a last-place finish in the Kickoff tournament, they kicked off Stage 1 with a very convincing victory against Sentinels, suggesting they are back on the right path.
While KRU played well in the opening week of the stage, it is not surprising to see VALORANT betting sites price them as +162 underdogs for Sunday’s affair as they take on one of the region’s strongest teams. On the other hand, KRU field one of the most stacked rosters in VCT Americas and have the tools to keep this game close.

100 Thieves are expected to defeat Sentinels with ease on Sunday, when the two teams clash for the second time this season. The last meeting, in the mid bracket of VCT Americas Kickoff, ended with a 2-0 sweep for 100 Thieves; however, the game was closer than what the final result would suggest.
Sentinels won 11 rounds on Corrode and forced 100T into overtime on Split, eventually losing the map 14-16. Considering how that game played out, it is fair to expect Sentinels to push 100 Thieves to their limits again.
100 Thieves showed more in the opening week of VCT Americas Stage 1, as they crushed Evil Geniuses while Sentinels suffered a bad loss against KRU Esports. But those results prove very little as KRU are a very strong team and EG are arguably one of the weakest squads in the region. Moreover, Sentinels played with a stand-in.
With reports of Gurjiwan “Jerrwin” Gill ready to play, Sentinels to win a map at -175.44 is an inviting bet.
