Sentinels enter the upper-bracket finals of VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff following a close 2-1 victory against LOUD on Friday. It was not the cleanest performance from Sentinels, and their success on the day was mostly thanks to individual players, namely Zachary “zekken” Patrone, stepping up.
G2 Esports, on the other hand, produced a very convincing win against Leviatan, looking as good as — if not better than — in their win against Cloud9 in the upper-bracket quarterfinals. G2 continue to prove they not only have individual players who can take over games, but they also work extremely well as a unit and are very adaptable.
Top VALORANT betting sites have G2 Esports priced as favourites, and it is hard to argue with that. Sentinels are a capable squad, but they are not at the same level as G2, who have so far looked like the best team in the league.

KRU Esports are priced as underdogs for this lower-bracket semifinal, which does not sound right. While both teams have had a few rough games this season, KRU Esports are fresh off a massive victory against LOUD, which should inspire some confidence.
MIBR have done well during their lower-bracket run, but they’ve only beaten Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses. On the other side, KRU have two big wins to their name, against NRG and LOUD.
Besides having a better record, KRU also field Marco “Melser” Machuca, who boasts the league’s fourth-highest K/D ratio (1.39) and holds the seventh-best rating average (1.20).
This could be a competitive game, but KRU should not be priced as underdogs.
