VCT 2026: China Stage 1 continues on Tuesday, May 5, with JD Gaming taking on Dragon Ranger Gaming before All Gamers face TYLOO in the lower bracket. Both matches are best-of-three elimination spots, so the pressure is very different from a normal group-stage series.

Dragon Ranger Gaming have the better elimination-round profile here.

JDG did enough to beat TYLOO in their upper-quarterfinal, but the follow-up against XLG was a much harsher read on where they sit against the stronger end of the bracket. Losing 0-2 there is not a disaster, but it does leave them needing a quick reset against a DRG team that already shook off its own upper-bracket loss by sweeping Trace Esports in the lower round.

That Trace result is the key part of the bet. DRG did not let the series become messy, and that matters in a lower-bracket match where one bad map can end the run. JDG have the upset path if they can start fast and force DRG into uncomfortable retakes, but Dragon Ranger look more settled coming into this one and should have enough to keep the bracket run alive.

ALL GAMERS vs TYLOO

TYLOO are worth siding with again after already beating All Gamers earlier in Stage 1.

That previous 2-1 win is not the whole argument, but it gives the market price some useful context. All Gamers looked sharp when they swept Trace Esports in the upper quarterfinal, then ran into EDward Gaming and failed to take a map. TYLOO had to work harder in their own lower-bracket opener against Titan Esports Club, but they came through the kind of pressure series that usually tells you more than a routine win.

All Gamers at even money is tempting, especially if they clean up the slow starts that hurt them against EDG. Still, TYLOO have already shown they can handle this matchup, and after surviving a three-map lower-bracket test, they should be comfortable if this turns into another long, awkward series.
