TMG Esports have emerged as champions of the 2025 Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS), earning a coveted spot at the Esports World Cup (EWC), which kicks off later this month.
The Indian PUBG Mobile squad sealed their national victory on Sunday at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center in New Delhi, taking home the BMPS title, ₹12.5 million (≈US$145,685) in prize money, and a ticket to the 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC).
The tournament began on June 14 with the League Stage, leading into a three-day Grand Finals series featuring 16 of the country’s best teams.
TMG finished Day 1 of the Grand Finals with strong showings in Games 2 and 4, placing second and first, respectively. On Day 2, they continued their momentum with a win in Game 9 and top-five finishes in Games 8 and 10.
TMG delivered clutch performances on the final day, including a third-place finish in Game 13, fourth in Game 14, and a win in Game 16.
That consistency paid off, as they ended the tournament with 136 points, edging out NoNx Esports by four points and finishing 10 points clear of third-placed Los Hermanos Esports.
With this victory, TMG Esports will represent India at the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
PMWC 2025 is scheduled to begin on July 25 at Boulevard Riyadh City and will feature 24 teams competing over 10 days. The top 16 squads will battle it out in the final stretch on August 3 for a share of the US$3 million prize pool.
