Kim “TenTen” Tae-young announced on Tuesday, March 24, that he is leaving the Team Secret VALORANT team, ending his short three-month stint.

TenTen’s departure from Team Secret marks the first roster change since the conclusion of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 Pacific Kickoff. The departure now leaves Secret one man short of finalizing their roster, with the import slot still available.

The Korean player joined Team Secret in December 2025 as a free agent, having previously represented ZETA DIVISION before his benching in October of the same year.

The 23-year-old made his first appearance for Secret in the VCT Pacific Kickoff, but his debut did not end as expected.

Despite being brought in as a part of a major roster rebuild, which Secret hoped would help them bounce back from finishing last in the Pacific the previous year, the Filipino team had to, again, settle for a wooden spoon.

By losing both of their games against Nongshim RedForce and ZETA DIVISION, Team Secret finished the Kickoff event in 11th-12th place, alongside VARREL.

It remains uncertain who Secret will bring in before the start of the new stage. Meanwhile, TenTen has yet to reveal where he will end up.

According to Kim “Meteor” Tae-oh’s younger brother’s X post, he decided to leave Team Secret due to the role conflict. He wanted to play Sentinel, yet Secret, like ZETA DIVISION and T1, only had duelist opportunities available.

“I wanted to be a sentinel all the time, but I only had duelist opportunities in T1, ZETA, and TS, so I asked TS to change my position after kick-off, but there was no room to play sentinel, so I came out of the team,” read his post.

TenTen is now a free agent, available for any team that needs to fill in a Sentinel role. However, with Stage 1 fast approaching, the Korean player is left with just over one week to find a new home.

VCT Pacific Stage 1 is set to kick off on April 3, with the first round of the group stage. While teams are expected to make changes, which will shake up the balance of power, the top VALORANT betting sites have already released outright markets, which draw a clear line between the favorites and the rest.

Nongshim RedForce are the current top dogs, priced at +200, ahead of Paper Rex at +225. Close behind sit T1 (+500) and DRX (+800) as the only remaining teams priced at single digits.
