Team Vitality announced revamped League of Legends rosters for the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) and the LoL La Ligue Française (LFL) ahead of the 2025 esports season.

As confirmed on Friday, Team Vitality will enter 2025 with fresh lineups in both the LEC and LFL, featuring six new players, albeit just three new signings.
For the LEC lineup, Vitality decided to promote two Vitality.Bee players, top laner Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan and mid laner Mateusz “Czajek” Czajka.

The duo made a name for themselves in the LFL past season, leading Vitality’s academy team to a silver medal at EMEA Masters Summer 2024 and a Coupe de France 2024 trophy.

Naak Nako and Czajek will join forces with three carryovers from 2024, including jungler Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas, ADC Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság and support Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov.

While Kaan Okan takes over for Kyeong “Photon” Gyu-tae, who left the team at the start of the month, Czajek will replace Vincent “Vetheo” Berrie, who was demoted within the Hive to Vitality.Bee.

“These two players made a remarkable impact during their LFL season with Team Vitality, reaching the finals of the EMEA Masters. Recognised for their high potential, creativity, and exceptional team spirit, they were natural choices to step up and join Team Vitality’s adventure in the LEC,” read the announcement.

Besides making roster changes, Vitality also shook up their coaching staff, adding two assistant coaches, Luka “Lukezy” Trumbić and Christophe “Kaas” Oudheusden.

The duo will join forces with head coach James “MAC” MacCormack and strategic coach Patrick “Pad” Suckow-Breum.

The significant overhaul of Vitality’s LEC division comes following a disappointing season, which ended with a ninth-place finish in LEC Summer 2024. Their most notable accomplishment of 2024 came in the spring split when Vitality placed fourth.

It marked Vitality’s sixth consecutive season in which they did not participate in an international competition. Vitality last appeared at the LoL World Championship in 2018.

Team Vitality’s secondary team Vitality.Bee, also underwent some changes, welcoming two new coaches, three new players, and mid laner Vetheo, who swapped places with Czajek.

Linking up with LEC 2022 Spring MVP are top laner Maximilian “Vertigo” Race, jungler Lukas “Lurox” Thoma, and support Kadir “Fleshy” Kemiksiz.

Croatian ADC Josip “Jopa” Čančar, who joined Vitality.Bee will continue with the squad for one more season.

Leading the revamped lineup will be former KOI (Rogue) analyst and Team BDS Academy head coach Danusch “Arvindir” Fischer. He will be assisted by Tim “Nalu” Hostnik, who spent the last season with Team GO as an assistant coach.
