According to reports, Team Liquid are set to sign Team Spirit player Robert “Patsi” Isyanov to their Counter-Strike roster.

Patsi is expected to replace long-time member Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski on the North American lineup. EliGE has been a part of Team Liquid for eight years, helping them win multiple events.

Patsi’s transfer will reportedly cost $100,000, which could increase depending on the player’s individual performance and Liquid’s results with him on the lineup. The transaction is currently 95% complete, and esports fans can expect an update later this week.

The news comes shortly after Nick “nitr0” Cannella went inactive, leaving a vacant spot on the lineup.

Patsi has been at Team Spirit for over two years, having joined in January 2021 on loan from Espada. Two months later, he was placed on the inaugural Spirit Academy lineup.

Patsi was promoted to the main team in February last year, alongside players like Pavel “s1ren” Ogloblon, and averaged a 1.10 LAN rating during his time with the team.

Patsi reached a 1.20 rating with the main team, recording a 49.9% success rate for 32.0% of the duels he participated in. Team Spirit did not see significant improvement after signing him, recording their best result at the Professional Gamers League Major Antwerp 2022, where they placed third-fourth.

Patsi’s transfer will reportedly confirm Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis’ position as the team’s in-game leader. If the signing is confirmed, Team Liquid’s CS:GO team will consist of Patsi, YEKINDAR, Josh “oSee” Ohm, and Keith “NAF” Markovic.

Liquid still have one spot left, which they will need to fill before the BLAST Premier Fall Groups roster lock on June 22.
