Team Falcons made history at the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 Raleigh Major, becoming the first team outside Europe and North America to win a Rocket League Major. Their victory capped off an electrifying Championship Sunday at the Lenovo Centre in Raleigh, North Carolina, where six elite teams battled for the $351,000 prize pool and crucial RLCS points.

Dignitas entered the grand final with momentum, having convincingly defeated Team Secret (4-0) and then toppling the previously undefeated Team Vitality (4-1). Meanwhile, Team Falcons showcased resilience, overcoming an initial game loss to NRG and then dominating the remainder of their semifinal series to claim a 4-2 win.
In the grand final, Dignitas struck first, taking the first game. However, Falcons quickly regrouped, displaying exceptional coordination and capitalising on Dignitas’s errors, including a critical double-commit that led to an easy goal. The series was marked by tight contests, with game five extending into overtime. Falcons secured the championship with a decisive goal, clinching their maiden Major title.
Team Falcons’ triumph is a landmark achievement for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in Rocket League esports. Their victory not only breaks the traditional dominance of European and North American teams but also underscores the rising competitive standards in the MENA region.
With the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major concluded, attention now turns to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh this August. Team Falcons, riding high on their recent success, will be a team to watch as they aim to continue their impressive run on the global stage.
Further on from the Esports World Cup, 16 of the 20 teams have qualified for the RLCS World Championship, which is set to take place in Lyon-Decines, France, from September 9-14. With a massive $1.25 million prize pool up for grabs, Falcons will be hoping to claim yet another Major Rocket League title to end the season.
