What is the RLCS 2025 Major 1?

Since the change to the event schedule in 2024, the Rocket League Championship Series will only feature two Major tournaments during the 2025 season. After an offseason shake up, the RLCS decided that they would split the season into two splits, where the top Rocket League organisations will compete in three open qualifiers in their respective regions before the best of the best take part in an international Major. Open Qualifiers will be held in North America, Europe, South America, Oceania, Middle East & North Africa, Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Throughout the qualifiers and Major 1, teams will earn RLCS Circuit Points, which will ultimately determine if they will be invited to the season-ending RLCS World Championship. Across the four-day event for RLCS Major 1, 16 teams will compete for their share of the US$255,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home US$75,000.
