The first international event for the 2022-23 RLCS season will be in December as the best Rocket League teams in the world will look to kick start their season with a win at the first Major of the 2022-23 season.

The Fall Split Major will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands at Rotterdam Ahoy. This 3v3 tournament will feature 16 of the best teams from around the world as they will battle it out for the USD$310,000 prize pool, with the winner taking home USD$100,000.

What Is The Rocket League Fall Split?

Since the change in 2021 to a three split per season for the Rocket League Championship Series, we now get a Major at the end of the Fall, Winter and Spring Splits.

During the seasonal Splits and the Majors, every team that participates will earn RLCS Circuit Ranking Points to determine whether they qualify for the Rocket League World Championship at the end of the season.

At all Rocket League Majors throughout the season, 16 teams will take their place in the Major, with all opening round matches being best-of-five series and all playoff matches best-of-seven series.

When is the RLCS Fall Split Major?

The RLCS Fall Split Major will take place in Netherlands, starting on December 8 with the Grand Final set to be played on December 11. The first two days of the Major are played in a studio, with no fans and just the teams in attendance. The last two days for the playoffs stage will be played at Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, with a full crowd in attendance for the final matches of the Major.
