Asian squads often catch European teams off guard, and it would not be too shocking for it to happen again – especially considering how up-and-down VP have been over the last month.

Team Falcons had a brief moment of greatness in February when they made the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 grand final. Since then, they’ve turned back into a pumpkin, with two early eliminations from ESL Pro League Season 21 (ninth-11th) and BLAST Open Spring (ninth-12th).

Complexity’s record in bigger events this season is even worse, but they’ve recently found some traction with a perfect (6-0) run through the PGL Bucharest 2025 North American qualifiers. Those results; however, do not mean much as Ioannis “JT” Theodosiou and co. did not have to face any good teams.

With the quality of players on their roster, Team Falcons should not struggle against a squad like Complexity, but you never know what you are getting with this team, who not long ago were dragged into overtime by The Huns.

A smaller position on Complexity to take a map is worth a look.

G2 Esports have not looked like themselves since their run to the semifinals at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025. Even though they placed top eight in the last two events, G2 Esports have consistently struggled to make it past elite CS2 teams.

Ranked no.13 in the world, GamerLegion do not appear like a threat on paper, especially considering their last meeting with G2 Esports ended in a 0-2 loss. But -106.38 on GL to steal a map is a far more appealing choice than backing the inconsistent G2 Esports to sweep.

PaiN Gaming looked very solid earlier in the season, but they lost momentum and failed to produce anything when faced with more formidable opponents. This, combined with their 0-2 loss to Eternal Fire in early March, makes it hard to believe the Brazilians can win this weekend.

Moreover, paiN Gaming benched Kaue “kauez” Kaschuk in mid-March and have yet to announce his replacement, so things are not looking good for them and their chances to get their revenge against Eternal Fire.

The Turkish squad have been playing well of late and seem to be back in their early-January form when they made the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 finals. If they can keep it up, a quick 2-0 sweep is a very likely outcome.

Team Liquid are 4-6 from their last 10 games but only 1-3 in the last four, which includes one victory against Imperial Esports. In their defence, Liquid had to play teams stronger than Legacy over that stretch, so they should do fine on Sunday.

Legacy enter PGL Bucharest 2025 in excellent form, having won nine of their last 10 outings. All victories came against lesser opponents during ESL Challenger League Season 49: North America, so their record does not hold as much weight – but at least they have momentum on their side.

This match will be Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek’s first with Liquid, but while the Pole’s arrival should make Team Liquid better, a slower start under a new in-game leader is likely.

FaZe Clan lost 1-2 against Astralis in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 third-place decider but have since added a 2-0 sweep in the second round of BLAST Open Spring 2025, so it is no surprise that they are expected to do well on Sunday.

Astralis are a bit of an enigma, as they have had their moments recently but never truly took off. The same; however, can be said for FaZe, who seem to be favoured only due to their recent sweep of the Danish outfit.

This is FaZe Clan’s game to lose, but they are not worth a bet at these prices. Over 2.5 maps pays at just over even money, which is a solid offer as Astralis nor FaZe are consistent enough to expect another sweep.

The best Counter-Strike 2 betting sites have Apogee Esports priced as +300 underdogs against FURIA, which is not shocking as they are the second-lowest-rated team in the tournament. However, considering FURIA’s track record this season, it would not be the most shocking thing to see the Brazilians slip.

FURIA are 3-7 from their last 10 outings and have only managed to defeat MiBR (twice) and M80. While those are stronger teams than Apogee Esports on paper, not a single victory FURIA produced was convincing.

Apogee to steal a map at -120.48 is a solid pick.
