Crazy Raccoon
Crazy Raccoon are the main title candidates at OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship and for all the right reasons.
They have been one of the most dominant teams of the OWCS season, having not placed lower than third across five events and with just nine defeats since the turn of the season.
While Crazy Raccoon have won only one event, OWCS Champions Clash, they were not far from winning Korea Stage 2, where they lost the grand final against the other titans, ZETA DIVISION.
ZETA DIVISION
ZETA DIVISION enter OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship with just one goal in mind: gold.
They have already won OWCS Korea Stage 1 and Stage 2, Asia Stage 1, and placed third in the Champions Clash.
That minor hiccup, however, does not mean much, considering ZETA are fresh off a dominant title run in Korea Stage 2, where they found serious momentum in the playoffs, beating 02 Blast, T1, and Crazy Raccoon without any major issues.
Fielding some of the best individual players in the scene, ZETA DIVISION have everything you need in a championship team. Considering their form heading into the Midseason Championship, ZETA are hard to doubt.
T1
T1 are not among the main two favourites to win the event, but they are not to be underestimated.
T1 are one of the better teams attending the OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship and a squad that have been competing against other top contenders all season.
Their fast-paced style of play is also T1’s strongest weapon and something not many other teams can match, outside of Crazy Raccoon, who have been T1’s kryptonite this season.
With a favourable draw, T1 can make a deep run.
Twisted Minds
Twisted Minds did not look great in EMEA Stage 2, which they finished in third place. But despite showing new weaknesses and drastically underperforming, Twisted Minds enter the OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship as one of the teams to watch.
Adaptability was an issue for Twisted Minds in Stage 2, as they seemed to struggle playing the meta, raising concerns about whether TM have already peaked and are on a decline.
Even with those questions, Twisted Minds are one of the most successful teams of the season and a squad who consistently perform on LAN.
Virtus.pro
Virtus.pro are arguably the best non-Korean team in this tournament, and they will emerge as such as long as VP can perform as well as they did in OWCS EMEA Stage 2.
Not only did Virtus.pro win the EMEA Stage 2 trophy, but they played admirably well throughout the entire event, not losing a single game across eight played.
Moreover, VP dropped just seven maps over that stretch, five of which came against Geekay Esports.
The current meta seems to suit Virtus.pro, and as long as they can keep their wheels spinning, the reigning EMEA champions look poised for a deep run.

Outright bet – ZETA DIVISION to win
ZETA DIVISION and Crazy Raccoon are a tier above everyone else at OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship, and it is hard to argue with that logic.
They have been two of the most dominant teams of the season, and while Crazy Raccoon have been more consistent, ZETA are in better shape, having recently won Korea Stage 2.
During Stage 2, ZETA DIVISION proved they can not only challenge, but defeat Crazy Raccoon, which is the main thing you need to win the upcoming Midseason Championship.
Admittedly, ZETA choked in the previous big event, but it appears that the current meta suits them more. If they can show the same form they did in OWCS Stage 2, a title run is very possible.

Outsider bet – Virtus.pro to reach final
Virtus.pro are not viewed as a serious threat for the title, but they have the tools needed to make a very deep run.
The EMEA representatives head into OWCS 2026 Midseason Championship with a lot of momentum on their side, having played their best Overwatch of the season in Stage 2.
They already challenged ZETA DIVISION during the Champions Clash in May, and Virtus.pro have gotten even better since.
While there are questions over whether VP will manage to perform as well in France as they did in EMEA Stage 2, there is little to suggest they cannot.
At the current numbers, Virtus.pro appear very underrated.
