LoL Worlds 2025 - Anthem finally released

The draw for the second day of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship has set the stage for another exciting slate of fixtures.

The first day of the LoL Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage delivered eight exciting fixtures, featuring one-sided stops, upsets, and a couple of nail-biters.

Highlighted by 100 Thieves’ upset victory over Bilibili Gaming, the opening round also saw the usual suspects in T1, Gen.G Esports, KT Rolster, Top Esports, and Anyone’s Legend get their names on the board.

They were joined in the 1-0 bracket by Vietnamese side Team Secret Whales and Pacific champions CTBC Flying Oyster.

While eight teams and three regions had a reason to celebrate, Europe finished the first round empty-handed.

LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) champions G2 Esports were outclassed by Top Esports, Fnatic fell to CTBC Flying Oyster, and Movistar KOI failed to keep up with KT Rolster.

Conducted by 2021 world champion Zhao “Jiejie” Lijie, the LoL Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Day 2 draw presented some intriguing matchups — including a couple of regional derbies.
