League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2026 Spring continues on Friday, May 8, with Karmine Corp taking on G2 Esports before GIANTX face Movistar KOI. It is a strong two-match slate, with both games carrying enough recent history to make the underdog/favourite split much more interesting than the raw odds first suggest.

Karmine Corp at plus money is the angle worth taking here.
G2 still deserve respect, especially after beating KC in the LEC Versus final earlier in the year, but the current price feels a little too comfortable for a matchup that rarely plays out cleanly. Karmine Corp have built a much better recent case than the odds suggest, with clean wins over NAVI, Fnatic and Shifters giving them a strong lead-in to this rematch.
G2 have also steadied after a few earlier wobbles, so this is not a fade of a bad favourite. It is more about the price being a touch too wide for a series where KC have enough form, enough teamfight punch and enough late-game confidence to make G2 uncomfortable. If this turns into another drawn-out, adjustment-heavy best-of-three, the bigger number looks like the better betting side.

Movistar KOI have earned the shorter quote in this spot.
GIANTX are not a throwaway underdog, and they have enough bite to make this one of the better matches of the day if the early game breaks their way. The issue is that KOI have been putting together the more convincing stretch, with wins over Fnatic, SK, Team Heretics and Vitality giving them a stronger body of recent work than GIANTX bring into this series.
The price is not big, but it is still playable for a team that has been more reliable at turning good positions into series wins. GIANTX can make it awkward through drafts and skirmishes, yet KOI look better placed to manage the pace once the match settles. At -181.82, the favourite is the cleaner betting play.
