Dplus KIA enter the Finals stage of KeSPA Cup after a dominant showing in Group B. Heo “ShowMaker” Su and his men finished the group stage with a perfect 4-0 record, beating OKSavingsBank BRION, KT Rolster, DRX, and Freecs.

Considering Dplus KIA’s dominance, it comes as no surprise that the best LoL bookmakers have them priced as favorites to take down Nongshim RedForce, who’ve had a much bumpier road to the final four. After placing second in Group C, with a 2-1 record, NS RedForce fought their way through the Last Chance Qualifier, beating Cloud9 2-1 and Freecs 2-0.

Even though Nongshim RedForce played well in the LCQ, they have so far beaten only weaker opponents and looked toothless against T1 in the group stage. Admittedly, Dplus KIA look less polished than T1, but that does not make them any less of a threat to Nongshim RedForce.

A 2-0 sweep for the high-flying Dplus KIA is a likely outcome.

T1 debuted their new ADC Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan during the KeSPA Cup group stage, and he did not disappoint. The 20-year-old seems to have quickly found his place on the new roster and delivered incredible performances, helping T1 to a perfect 3-0 run in Group C, with victories over Nongshim RedForce, Team Liquid, and Japan.

Hanwha Life Esports were just as successful in Group A, where they bested Cloud9, BNK FEARX, Gen.G, and Vietnam’s all-star roster. A lot of their success was thanks to former T1 ADC Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyung, who, much like Peyz, looked like he has adapted to his new life.

This promises to be an exciting affair as T1 and Hanwha Life Esports both look to be in excellent shape. While T1 are billed as favorites, HLE have shown great things in the group stage, making it hard to justify fading them at even money.

Expect a competitive affair that can easily go the distance.
