Karmine Corp v GIANTX – VCT 2025 EMEA Kickoff betting tips

Karmine Corp and GIANTX will face off on Friday, January 24, in the lower bracket of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 EMEA Kickoff. It will mark their first meeting since October, when KC bested GIANTX 2-1 at Spotlight Series EMEA 2024.

Despite replacing four players during the offseason, Karmine Corp got off to an excellent start to the 2025 season. After a dominant reverse sweep against Natus Vincere, however, they suffered a close overtime loss against Team Vitality in the upper-bracket quarterfinal.

GIANTX, on the other side, crashed out of the upper bracket with a 1-2 defeat against the surging BBL Esports. Even though losing to BBL does not sound too worrying, GIANTX did not look sharp in that game, which explains why they are priced as +143 underdogs with the top VALORANT betting sites.

While the sample size of matches to analyse is very small, Karmine Corp have looked much better, despite needing to work on their tempo. But even a slower approach works for them very well and should be difficult to deal with for GIANTX.
