ESB’s free Counter-Strike: Global Offensive betting predictions for Tuesday, July 5, focus on three Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII Cologne bouts. Check out our picks for Team Spirit vs Complexity, BIG vs ORDER, and Outsiders vs Imperial, with top CS:GO odds courtesy of BetOnline.

TEAM SPIRIT vs COMPLEXITY CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Spirit -277.78 at BetOnline | Complexity +200 at BetOnline
When: July 5, 2022 | 11:00 CEST

Team Spirit and Complexity will clash in the first round of IEM Cologne, and according to the latest CS:GO betting odds, this is Spirit’s game to lose. Even though the best-of-one (Bo1) series are highly unpredictable and generally favour the outsiders, it’s very tough to make a case for Complexity.

Complexity enter this match with an abysmal 0-8 record, which stretches back to the PGL Major Antwerp Challengers Stage. Moreover, their losing streak includes defeats against MiBR, OG, and SINNERS Esports, who are all weaker than Spirit.

Team Spirit have looked significantly better this year and even made semis at the Major. They might not reach the same heights without Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, who left the roster after the organisation relocated to Serbia; however, Team Spirit has a solid replacement in Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov, who should be able to fill in the shoes with time.

We don’t know how good Spirit will be with a new AWPer, but we know that Complexity are in terrible shape. Team Spirit to cover the 3.5-round line is a no-brainer pick.

BIG vs ORDER CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: BIG +120 at BetOnline | ORDER -163.93 at BetOnline
When: July 5, 2022 | 12:40 CEST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESL_CSGO)

BIG won Roobet Cup last week with a perfect record, beating the likes of Entropiq, Eternal Fire, Cloud9, and even the reigning Major champions FaZe Clan (2-1, 2-1). Even though we need to see more from the German quad before we can view them as an elite team, BIG can compete with the best the European CS:GO scene has to offer.

ORDER (former Renegades roster) are not here to win the title, but this squad is more than capable of causing some damage. Still, we wouldn’t bet on ORDER to defeat one of the most in-form teams at the tournament.

BIG shouldn’t be losing games like this, but we don’t expect this to be a complete stomp. ORDER are a quality team, and they’re good enough to pocket at least 10 rounds even against a team like BIG.

OUTSIDER vs IMPERIAL CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Outsiders -250 at BetOnline | Imperial +175 at BetOnline
When: July 5, 2022 | 12:40 CEST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ESL_CSGO)

Outsiders got off to a shaky rough start with their new lineup, crashing out of Roobet Cup with defeats against forZe (1-2) and FURIA Esports (0-2). It’s not fair to judge a team based on just two results, but it’s no secret that Outsiders look much weaker without Timur “buster” Tulepov and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis.

Imperial might be just as strong as Outsiders now that the Russian team lost its star players, but the offered CS:GO odds suggest otherwise. The price is based mainly on Imperial’s lack of success since they placed top three at PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR in April, but it’s not like Outsiders have achieved much more.

This is a match Outsiders should win, but we wouldn’t bet on them at this price. The value is with the Brazilian squad, who should be priced much closer to +120.
