Team Tidebound have found a new home after going four months unsigned on the Dota 2 circuit, linking up with Chinese esports organisation All Gamers.
The squad came together in January, consisting of known faces from the Chinese region who did not find teams for the 2025 esports season — Guo “shiro” Xuanang, Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang, Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida, Lin “planet” Hao, and Zhang “y'” Yiping.
The unsigned collective quickly started making waves in the local scene by qualifying for some of the biggest events of the year.
They have turned those tickets into some strong results, with a bronze medal from FISSURE Universe Episode 4 and fourth-place finishes at PGL Wallachia Season 4 and ACL X ESL Challenger China.
More recently, Tidebound reached the quarterfinals of BLAST Slam III, where they lost against the tournament favourites, Team Spirit.
Despite signing new contracts, Team Tidebound will continue competing under their old name during Asian Champions League 2025 – scheduled for May 16 – when they will fight for a ticket to the Esports World Cup.
All Gamers initially started as a StarCraft II team and have since built a strong presence in esports with squads in VALORANT, CrossFire, and Honor of Kings.
Their recent expansion is not limited to Dota 2, as in the last few days the organisation has announced three new Tekken 8 players, a fresh EA FC roster, a Rainbow Six Siege team, and an Overwatch lineup.
That all comes in the lead-up to the 2025 Esports World Cup, where All Gamers will be aiming for a strong showing in the US$27 million Club Championship.
