Cloud9 and Team Liquid meet for a grand final spot in the LCS Spring playoffs, with C9 backed to bounce back from their LYON loss.

Cloud9 and Team Liquid will clash for a spot in the LoL Championship Series 2026 Spring grand final on Saturday, June 13, when they meet for the first time since May 16.
That game ended in Cloud9’s favour, and according to the latest odds from the best LoL bookmakers, C9 are in a strong spot to come out ahead once more.

After losing to LYON in the first round of the playoffs, Team Liquid have picked themselves up with back-to-back victories against Shopify Rebellion and FlyQuest.
The win over FlyQuest was a solid showing from Liquid, although FlyQuest did not perform especially well, which made it easier for TL to look good.
Cloud9 started the playoffs with a close 3-2 victory over FlyQuest, but they could not get past LYON in the upper bracket final and were swept. The loss was deserved, as Cloud9 struggled, especially across the final two maps.
Despite two questionable games, Cloud9 are still viewed as favourites for this matchup, and that makes sense given their impressive performance metrics, especially in the mid-to-late game and around neutral objectives.
Cloud9 lead the league in Dragon control at 62.4% and Baron control at 62.8%, while their early-game metrics, including a 227 gold difference at 20 minutes, are slightly skewed by a couple of iffy recent performances.
Form-wise, Team Liquid are ahead after playing well against FlyQuest, while Cloud9 looked poor against LYON. Still, it is hard to ignore just how much better C9 have been than Liquid and the rest of the league since the start of the split.
That alone is enough reason to believe Cloud9 remain the LCS’s best team. At $1.66, Cloud9 to win on Saturday is a very solid pick.
