Vancouver Surge ended the online stage with a 3-2 record, which includes losses to Atlanta FaZe and OpTic Texas and victories against Boston Breach, Toronto Ultra, and Minnesota RØKKR. That was not a terrible run, but it highlighted the Surge’s main weakness.
Their Hardpoint is solid and Control is serviceable, whereas Search & Destroy needs a lot of work. This will be a problem when the Surge face off against Los Angeles Thieves, who are not only extremely good on respawns but also hold a 68.4% win rate on S&D.
The Thieves had to dig deep to defeat Vancouver in the last Major, but at -120.48 to make it past the shaky Surge, the defending Major champions are hard to pass on.

Minnesota RØKKR clinched an upper seed by the skin of their teeth. They ended the online stage with a 2-3 record, with two victories against struggling teams in Carolina Royal Ravens and Los Angeles Guerrillas M8.
A poor showing in the CDL 2024 Major 4 qualifiers puts the RØKKR in a position where they need to produce a deep run in Dallas to have a shot at making the CDL Championship. But based on their showings over the last few months, it is hard to believe Justice “Estreal” McMillan and co. can complete their goal.
Miami Heretics ended the qualifiers with a perfect 5-0 record and are in superb form. Their respawns still need some work, but the Heretics are edging towards the top of the power rankings and are rightly viewed as firm favourites to win on Friday.

Cloud9 New York ended CDL 2025 Major 4 Qualifiers with only two victories; however, they had to play Toronto Ultra, Miami Heretics, Los Angeles Thieves, Vegas Falcons, and Atlanta FaZe, which was a very demanding schedule.
The concern with Cloud9 New York is their map pool. They are very good on Hardpoint, but Search & Destroy and Control are a bit iffy when C9NY do not get their best maps. More than a shallow map pool, Kyle “Kremp” Haworth and his crew need to find more individual stability for more consistent performances.
Atlanta FaZe’s only loss in the online stage came against C9NY, but besides that hiccup, they’ve been playing incredibly well. Moreover, FaZe typically perform better on LAN, which bumps them up even more.
The underdogs can bite, but they have too many flaws for us to take their side in this rematch.

The best CoD betting sites have OpTic Texas and Toronto Ultra priced very closely. Considering the results from CDL 2025 Major 4 Qualifiers, that makes sense.
OpTic have found a new gear with the arrival of Mason “Mercules” Ramsay and finished the qualifiers with a respectable 4-1 record. On the other side, Toronto Ultra had a 3-0 start but lost the final two games, including one against OpTic last Sunday.
It was a strong showing from the defending CDL champions, who won with 220-216 on Hardpoint–Vault, 6-3 on Search & Destroy–Hacienda, and 3-1 on Control–Protocol.
OpTic were involved in a couple of headscratchers in the online stage (2-3 against LA Guerrillas M8 and 3-2 against Boston Breach), which does not help with figuring out how good they are. But they have a very high ceiling, which is a good enough reason to take their side at this price.
