BLAST SLAM VIII continues on Wednesday, September 30, when BetBoom Team face off against OG, and MOUZ take on Team Yandex in the first round of Group C.
Esportbet brings you free Dota 2 betting predictions for the two fixtures, along with expert picks and odds, from the best esports bookmakers.
BetBoom Team enter BLAST SLAM VIII with a changed-up roster, now fielding Vitalie “Save-” Melnic in the mid lane, Georgii “swedenstrong” Zainalabidov as a new No.4, and Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek as a new coach.
With all those changes, it is hard to figure out where BetBoom Team stand and how they’ll perform. However, on paper, they remain a very potent team who, on a good day, can defeat anyone.
OG have also made several roster changes, notably adding Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen as a new No.2.
Fielding a few strong pieces, OG are not to be overlooked entirely, especially since their champion pool has now expanded. However, adding three new players just a week before the tournament raises some questions.
BetBoom’s core have accomplished more than OG and are rightly viewed as favorites.
Under a new coach, BB Team might look different, but the quality gap is big enough to take their side of this contest.

Team Yandex and MOUZ recently clashed during PGL Wallachia Season 9, when Yandex won 2-1.
MOUZ performed well in that match and were the only team, besides Natus Vincere, to take a map off Yandex, which is nothing to sneeze at.
Despite that minor success, however, MOUZ should not be considered favorites for this match.
The best Dota 2 bookmakers have them listed as +577 underdogs, giving MOUZ a 14.8% implied probability of winning the game.
PGL Wallachia was not the first time MOUZ have taken a map off Yandex this year, but it is hard to imagine them finding the same success on Wednesday.
Team Yandex are the most in-form Dota 2 team in the scene and a squad who are becoming increasingly hard to doubt.

VALORANT Champions 2026 resumes on Wednesday, September 30, when Team Vitality will take on LOUD in the Group B winner match, followed by a Group A Winner Match between 100 Thieves and FUT Esports.
Esportbet brings you free VALORANT predictions and betting picks for the two games, along with odds from the best bookmakers for esports betting.
Team Vitality and LOUD took care of business in the first round of Group C, taking down Global Esports in a very competitive match.
Vitality won the game with 13-10 on Abyss and 13-11 on Summit, while dropping Ascent 9-13.
LOUD looked even better in their opening match of the tournament, as they demolished EDward Gaming with 13-8 on Lotus and 13-5 on Summit, with Enzo “tkzin” Zimiani shining the brightest, posting a 1.51 performance rating.
Tkzin’s performance is very promising, as he has been the weak point on LOUD, and if the 18-year-old can continue playing this way, LOUD will have a real chance of going very far.
It was one of many excellent performances from LOUD, who have been ramping up through Stage 2 and have shown no cracks, even when playing on big stages.
Boasting a scary amount of firepower, LOUD have beaten teams stronger than Team Vitality, who are not to be underestimated.
But the Bees have not been great in Stage 2, nor have they shown much against Global Esports.
The right team is favored.
LOUD to win
100 Thieves kicked off VALORANT Champions 2026 with a 2-0 sweep of T1, whom they defeated with 13-8 on Summit and 13-9 on Ascent.
FUT Esports were just as successful, beating JD Gaming with 13-1 on Ascent and 13-10 on Summit.
100 Thieves entered the tournament as a better team, and they had to handle a tougher opponent.
While this alone does not prove much, 100T have been playing much cleaner VALORANT in Stage 2 than FUT Esports, who are a very brawly team who rely more on firepower than strategy.
This approach will not work well against 100 Thieves, who not only have the players to outshoot FUT Esports, but are also a more efficient, strategical team.
As the odds on the top-rated bookmakers suggest, the quality difference is noticeable.
