Inner Circle Esports are major underdogs for their first match of BLAST Open Fall 2026, as they clash with Team Vitality.

The Bees enter the tournament hungry to prove their worth, having found no meaningful success in the last four tournaments and failing to break the top five.

Player absences played a role, but it is fair to say Vitality are not in as good a shape as they were in the first half of the year.

Vitality’s underwhelming results raise a big question mark over their chances of making a run for the BLAST Open trophy. However, they should never struggle against a tier-two team with little to no experience facing elite squads.

Inner Circle Esports are among the lowest-rated teams at BLAST Open Fall, with just two tournament titles to their name, and even those came from lesser competition.

IC are heavily outmatched, and it should show on Thursday.

MOUZ9z Team

The best CS2 bookmakers have MOUZ listed as -250 favourites to defeat 9z Team on Thursday.

As the reigning BLAST Bounty champions, MOUZ have recently proven they can win big trophies, but around that title run, they have produced middling results.

Notably, MOUZ did not make it far in the recent Esports World Cup, and they have not looked very convincing even in some of their more recent wins, dropping maps against 3DMAX, Astralis, and GamerLegion.

9z Team did not make it far at the Esports World Cup earlier this month, but they have won XSE Pro League and reached the quarterfinals of Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major, after a top-eight finish at PGL Astana.

Like MOUZ, 9z have shown some inconsistency, but have also proven they can damage tier-one teams.

9z Team are not pushovers and are more than capable of upsetting stronger teams. At +175, they are an excellent outsider bet.

LegacyFUT Esports

Legacy are listed as slight underdogs for their clash against the recently crowned Esports World Cup runners-up, FUT Esports.

FUT’s run to the EWC grand final was an impressive display, but it was also their first podium finish since April and their second of the year.

Legacy did not shine as brightly in Paris, yet they still left a mark, securing a bronze medal.

Before the EWC, Legacy also won CS Asia Championships, finished third at Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta, and secured a BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part Three trophy.

Looking at those results, it is hard to explain why FUT Esports would be viewed as the more likely victors.

This match should be much closer to a 50/50.

Lynn Vision Gaming will have their work cut out for them on Thursday, when they clash with the reigning Major champions, Team Falcons.

Priced at +750, the Chinese team are given an 11.8% implied probability of winning the series, which is low but fair.

It is hard to make a solid case for the underdogs, even at this price. This is mainly because they have looked toothless in recent big events, failing to find success against higher-rated teams.

Notably, Lynn Vision have lost to Team Vitality 0-2 and MOUZ 8-13 at the EWC, which is a solid indication of how the upcoming match against another tier-one team will play out.

Team Falcons did not impress in Paris with a quarterfinal exit, although fatigue might have played a factor.

The early elimination, however, has now given Falcons more time to prepare for the upcoming BLAST event, where they should look more like the Falcons from May-June, when they racked up four back-to-back podium finishes.

This is, on paper, the most one-sided game of Thursday’s lineup, and it should play out as such.
