Complexity were one of the biggest losers of the offseason, having lost Ricky “floppy” Kemery and Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski. The new arrivals Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk and Nicholas “nicx” Lee are serviceable but a massive firepower downgrade.
This new lineup will be a proper test for Ioannis ‘Johnny’ “JT” Theodosiou and his in-game leading ability. But even if JT proves himself as an excellent IGL, Complexity will struggle in other areas.
Virtus.pro are quite the opposite, boasting an incredible amount of firepower but a questionable IGL in Denis “electroNic” Sharipov. The arrival of Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev and Kaisar “ICY” Faiznurov will allow VP to turn a new leaf in 2025, but their ceiling is questionable.
Virtus.pro are the better team here, but at the offered betting odds, you can make a case for Complexity and their chances to take a map off the rusty VP.

Eternal Fire had an excellent 2024 season. While they crashed out of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: European RMR B in 12th-14th place, they managed two strong results in September, winning silver medals at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 and ESL Pro League Season 20.
For the 2025 season, the Turkish squad decided to make just one change, adding Samet “jottAAA” Köklü from Sangal Esports at the start of the month. The 22-year-old, while unproven at the top level, is a substantial upgrade to Buğra “Calyx” Arkın.
While Eternal Fire are a bit inconsistent, they should not struggle against Fluxo, who don’t have much to show for besides a few CCT tournament titles in 2024. The Brazilians should be no match for Eternal Fire, and the offered esports odds on the top Counter-Strike betting sites reflect it.

The addition of Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski as a replacement for Robin “ropz” Kool might not seem like a massive upgrade. But with the 27-year-old’s arrival, the dynamic will change for the better, relieving Finn “karrigan” Andersen from some of his IGLing duties.
FaZe Clan boast just as much quality as they did in 2024. But they should be far more consistent, which is what they lacked last season.
M80 will attend BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 without Ethan “reck” Serrano, who is out with a leg injury and was replaced by Nils “k1to” Gruhne, who is more of a downgrade than anything else. K1to has been out of action since his benching from OG in August, and even with his former team, he has been hardly serviceable.
M80 should not do well in this tournament, let alone against one of the strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams in the scene.
