LYON enter MSI 2026 as the LoL Championship Series champions, having dominated the regional playoffs with convincing victories against Cloud9 and Team Liquid.

FURIA, on the other hand, had a very similar experience in their league, with strong showings in the Circuit Brazilian League of Legends Split 1 playoffs, where they bested LOUD, RED Canids, and LOS.

While both teams have had their share of success in their respective leagues, the best betting sites have LYON listed as $1.53 favourites. That is mainly because the LCS is widely considered a stronger league than CBLOL.

That theory can be questioned, though, as FURIA won the Americas Cup in March, beating Cloud9 and Sentinels with ease.

FURIA have proven themselves as underdogs who can bite, and LYON had their iffy moments in the spring split. However, lane-by-lane, LYON have a noticeable edge, especially in the jungle.

Kacper “Inspired” Słoma alone can carry LYON over teams that cannot shut him down, and he is a strong reason not to doubt LYON when they have at least even lanes. FURIA can surprise with their aggressive style and strong drafting, but ultimately, this is LYON’s game to lose.

Bilibili Gaming and T1 are, along with Hanwha Life Esports, two of the strongest teams in the world. Yet one of them will end up in the lower bracket after Saturday.

T1 entered the bracket stage after a very strong performance in the Play-Ins, where they lived up to expectations and made it through with a 9-0 record, beating Karmine Corp and Team Liquid twice without dropping a map.

Their run, however, comes with an asterisk. Across three games played, T1 came very close to dropping at least one map, mainly due to their slow early game, which allowed opponents to build sizeable gold leads.

Neither Karmine Corp nor Team Liquid managed to take full advantage of those positions, but T1 will not be as fortunate against stronger teams.

Bilibili Gaming’s level of play in the LoL Pro League this split has been slightly up and down, but for the most part, they have been in excellent shape. Their biggest strength is in the solo lanes, namely top laner Chen “Bin” Zebin and mid laner Zhuo “Knight” Ding.

BLG also have a strong early game, meaning they should stylistically match up well with a T1 side that tends to start games slowly. On the other hand, Bilibili Gaming’s biggest weakness is closing games cleanly, so they could run into the same issues as Team Liquid and Karmine Corp.

Bilibili Gaming have the tools to punish T1, but the same applies the other way around. T1 have also had time to warm up before the bracket stage, giving them an additional edge ahead of this playoff clash.
