ENCE Welcome Back allu as CS2 Head Coach

ENCE announced the return of legendary Finnish Counter-Strike 2 player Aleksi “allu” Jalli, who is back under the old banner as the team’s new head coach.

Allu joins ENCE as a replacement for recently departed coach George “Whitey” White, who was let go by the Finnish organisation on June 5 following a streak of disappointing results.

The 34-year-old has previously spent five years with ENCE across three separate stints. He originally joined the Finnish squad in September 2013 before leaving for mousesports in June 2014.

His second stint lasted just seven months, between January and August 2016, before allu returned for his longest run with ENCE between March 2018 and May 2021.

During his time with ENCE, the Finnish AWPer secured a Major silver medal at Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Katowice Major 2019 and won notable titles at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 and StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6.

After taking a leave of absence from ENCE in May 2021, allu had a short stint with team temp and spent the later years of his playing career at JANO Esports, which he left in May 2025.

Since then, he has featured in a few lower-tier tournaments as part of CSDIILIT, with whom he played his last match at Elisa Open Suomi Season 12 in April this year. At that event, allu lost the grand final against ENCE.

“Returning to ENCE feels right. This is where some of my best memories in Counter-Strike were made, and being back in this environment means a lot to me,” said allu in a statement.

“I won’t pretend I have all the answers as a coach. This is a new challenge for me, and I’m stepping into it knowing there’s a lot to learn. But I’m genuinely excited about that.”

Allu now takes charge of ENCE’s revamped roster, which was formed in April with the arrivals of Niki “Cliqq” Kinnunen, Teemu “teme” Korva, Aleksi “millert” Lehtopuu, Giorgi “Schwarz” Gaxokidze, and Henri “HENU” Ylilehto.

The new roster, consisting largely of former academy players, has featured in six events over the last two months and won one tournament, Elisa Open Suomi Season 13.

As it stands, ENCE have no confirmed events lined up in the coming weeks.
