The day kicks off with a Group Nirvana clash as Oh My God face EDward Gaming for the first time since Split 1 Knights Rival. OMG won that last meeting 3-1, although it is no surprise to see them priced as outsiders for Wednesday’s rematch.

Oh My God are the only team in Group Nirvana still chasing their first series win, and they have not looked especially sharp in any of their three losses. Their long break is another concern, as OMG have not played a match since April 24 and could come into this one a little rusty.

EDward Gaming have not exactly been clean either. Their recent 2-1 victory over Ultra Prime was not overly convincing, and despite having a capable roster, EDG have remained one of the more volatile teams in the group.

There is a fair argument that OMG are struggling too much to seriously challenge EDward Gaming. Still, they have had two weeks to prepare, they will have side choice, and EDG have not been reliable enough to fully trust as short favourites.

The -151.52 line on top LoL bookmakers for Oh My God to take a map is the better betting angle.

TEAM WE vs ANYONE’S LEGEND

Team WE showed some signs of life last Wednesday when they upset Invictus Gaming. A day later, they also took a map from Weibo Gaming, which was a noticeable improvement from their abysmal start to the split.

That said, the improvement only goes so far. Team WE were crushed by Top Esports on the final day of LPL Split 2 Week 6, suffering their 11th defeat of the regular season.

Anyone’s Legend also had a rough end to last week, losing to Ninjas in Pyjamas and JD Gaming. Across the four maps they dropped, AL struggled to keep up early, which has been one of their known weaknesses throughout the split.

Anyone’s Legend did show some improvement in the early game during April, but those issues have not disappeared completely. That gives Team WE at least one clear way into the series, even if they are not usually the best team at turning early leads into wins.

AL are the stronger side and should win, but the price on Team WE to take a map is too generous to ignore. After showing a pulse last week, the underdogs are worth a look on the map handicap.
