Weibo Gaming will chase a top-four finish in Group Ascend on Friday, when they face off against Invictus Gaming for the first time since the opening day of the split. The last meeting ended in a 2-1 reverse-sweep for WBG, albeit it was not a convincing showing. The same is expected to happen this week.
Despite managing two more wins (4-5) than Invictus Gaming (2-7), Weibo Gaming have been anything but convincing. Although a very competent roster who have given all Group Ascend squads a run for their money, Weibo Gaming tend to fall off in the mid-late game and are very prone to making mistakes.
The same applies to Invictus Gaming, who have consistently challenged any team who stood in their path. But their lack of stability has cost them many victories.
LPL as a whole has been very volatile this split, and the quality within the groups has been marginal. Most of the matches were coin flips, and the same applies to this one, making Invictus Gaming a very appealing bet at outsider odds.

The best LoL betting sites have Anyone’s Legend priced as slight underdogs for their meeting with the reigning LPL champions. The last meeting on January 17 ended in a 2-1 victory for Bilibili Gaming.
Bilibili Gaming have lost just three games this split, albeit two last week, against JD Gaming and Top Esports. Since then, they’ve beaten Invictus Gaming and, on Monday, swept Weibo Gaming.
It was a solid showing from Zhuo “Knight” Ding and his crew, but given the draft advantage on map one, BLG could’ve been more efficient in closing it out. The second game was closer, but Bilibili Gaming outmaneuvered WBG in the late game.
Anyone’s Legend are also fresh off a victory against Weibo Gaming. It was a close game, although AL were more stable and made fewer unforced errors.
Stability has been Anyone’s Legend’s biggest strength, in contrast to most other teams, who have been struggling with consistency. That includes Bilibili Gaming, who have had a few too many iffy showings lately.
At even money, Anyone’s Legend are an excellent bet.
