LGD Gaming outperformed expectations last year and decided to keep their best pieces for 2026. There are also some changes with Yang “Heng” Cuiheng as a new jungler and Lin “Tangyuan” Yuhong as a mid laner.

While neither is considered elite-tier, both new arrivals are in their prime years and have the experience LGD need to continue to threaten a strong mid-table finish. The experience of the players on this roster, in particular, could be LGD Gaming’s main strength.

Ultra Prime have again opted to make a budget roster for the upcoming season. That does not necessarily mean UP do not have the talent to do well, as both new signings, ADC Park “Hena” Jeung-hwan and jungler Jo “Grizzly” Seung-hoon are serviceable. The duo also introduce potential upside for Ultra Prime, adding a pinch of optimism to how far this squad can fly.

Ultra Prime have potential to surprise; however, it is much easier to make a case for LGD Gaming, who look more stable.

INVICTUS GAMING vs ANYONE’S LEGEND

Anyone’s Legend are running it back with the same roster but a changed coaching staff, which is not a bad call. The continuity under new guidance could be a recipe for success, especially early, when most other squads are still adjusting to life with new faces.

Moreover, this is a very good roster, featuring some of the top players in their respective roles. Moreover, AL are known to have a deep champion pool, so even with the massive meta shifts, Anyone’s Legend look bound for a solid season.

Invictus Gaming have also decided to make some adjustments to their roster, creating a mix of veteran and rookie players. Their ceiling does not appear as high, which explains why the top LoL betting sites have them as +175 underdogs.

So early in the season, fading the favorites is almost always the right play given early volatility. However, the continuity on Anyone’s Legend and the raw quality of this roster are two solid reasons to go against that logic.

WEIBO GAMING vs BILIBILI GAMING

Bilibili Gaming have made some changes before the season. Notably, they have signed Park “Viper” Do-hyeon as a new ADC and swapped out the coaching staff, adding former world champion Yang “Daeny” Dae-in.

As the top Chinese LoL team of the late 2025 season, Bilibili Gaming have made the necessary changes not only to retain their power, but also to raise their ceiling and improve on what was a fairly successful year.

Weibo Gaming have made changes across the board, replacing all their players except for the mid laner. This could lead to some growing pains and early-season struggles, but overall, this is a capable roster.

Like it was the case in 2025, Weibo Gaming seem like they’ll only do well as long as Li “Xiaohu” Yuanhao is not a liability, and as long as the roster as a whole has enough experience and talent to hang with the best.
