After dismantling Anyone’s Legend, T1 will face off against Top Esports in the League of Legends World Championship 2025 semifinals on Sunday, November 2.

The two Asian LoL esports teams have yet to clash this year. However, considering T1’s success against Anyone’s Legend, it is not surprising to see the best esports betting sites pricing T1 as favorites for Sunday’s affair.

LoL Pro League (LPL) teams have historically struggled against T1. Even though that is a bad excuse to fade Top Esports,
Wenbo “JackeyLove” Yu and co. have not shown enough this event to appear as a serious threat to T1.

Top Esports enter the semifinals following a 3-1 victory against G2 Esports, but that result does not tell the whole story. TES dominated the first map, got outplayed on the second, and won the third mostly due to better drafting.
The fourth map could have ended in G2 Esports’ favor, but a botched Atakhan fight gave Top Esports too big a lead to bounce back.

While TES did not play poorly on the day, they won against a weaker opponent and mainly due to worse drafting and poor
teamfight execution from G2.

While T1 are not immune to taking poor fights, their drafting this tournament has been excellent, so it is unlikely for Top Esports to gain any sizeable leads before they enter the Summoner’s Rift.

Form-wise, it is important to note that T1 looked much cleaner in their win against AL. Top laner Choi “Doran” Hyeon-jun looked much improved, while Faker and ADC Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyung have both been in superb form this entire event.
Individually, Top Esports have the players to match T1, but they are also more volatile, namely, the bottom lane. Yet it is not the lack of individual talent that could prove to be TES’ main weakness. It’s drafting.

Top Esports are very predictable draft and are not nearly as versatile as T1. The lack of consistency TES have displayed this tournament only adds to the doubt they have what it takes to stop T1 from reaching the finals.
