LoL Worlds 2025: Round 3 draw sets up clash of LCK titans

The draw for Round 3 of the 2025 LoL World Championship is out, and we’re set for some fireworks as LCK giants T1 and Gen.G square off.

LoL Worlds 2025

Thursday’s League of Legends World Championship 2025 Round 3 draw set up a clash of two Korean titans while pushing European teams against the wall.

Much like the opening day of the LoL Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage, the second day of play had its share of upsets and highlights.

CTBC Flying Oyster grabbed the headlines by derailing the defending champions, T1, while Anyone’s Legends managed to halt the pre-tournament favorites, Gen.G.

Those results made for a more exciting draw, which unveiled the schedule for the next three days.

The first set of advancement matches paired KT Rolster with Top Esports and CTBF Flying Oyster with Anyone’s Legend.

In the 1-1 bracket, Team Secret Whales will take on FlyQuest, G2 Esports will meet with Bilibili Gaming, and 100 Thieves will face Hanwha Life Esports.

The most exciting game of this bracket, however, is a clash between LoL Champions Korea (LCK) powerhouses Gen.G and T1, who will face off for the 10th time this season.

LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) rivals Movistar KOI and Fnatic are set to clash in the 0-2 bracket, while PSG Talon have an excellent chance to bounce back from a poor start when they face Vivo Keyd Stars.

With four teams at 2-0 and four still winless, the LoL Worlds format now shifts to best-of-three games for the four advancement and elimination matches on Friday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, the eight 1-1 teams will play best-of-one matches on Saturday.

According to the top LoL betting sites, the next three days of action should be fairly straightforward, with Anyone’s Legend, Top Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Gen.G, FlyQuest, Hanwha Life Esports, and PSG Talon all priced as firm favorites.

Of the eight fixtures, the clash between Fnatic (+108) and Movistar KOI (-144.93) is expected to be the closest.
