After beating Shopify Rebellion in the first round, RED Canids will chase their second playoff victory against 100 Thieves on Sunday, September 21, in the LoL Championship of The Americas 2025 Championship lower bracket semifinals.

RED Canids’s opening match of the playoffs was much closer. Shopify won the first map thanks to a critical mid-lane fight, before RED Canids stomped maps two and three, thanks to excellent performances from jungler Raí “Doom” Yamada and mid-laner Lucas “Kaze” Fe.

Map four was a rollercoaster, which should’ve ended in Shopify Rebellion’s victory a few times before it actually did. That time, Doom and Kaze looked shaky but stepped up for the final map and led RED Canids to a comfortable victory.

Based on the round-one games, there is not much to separate the two teams. 100 Thieves were not as dominant as the final score suggests, so it is fair to assume that RED Canids will present a much tougher challenge than paiN.

With RED Canids, it is evident that they rely heavily on their mid-jungle duo to do well. While this is not optimal, Doom and Kaze have been in great shape in the final split and have had a few standout performances against Shopify Rebellion.

100 Thieves have had too many close calls against LTA South’s third-seeded team to confidently say they can walk away from this fixture unharmed.
