M80 have defied the odds and made the final six. But according to the latest prices on Counter-Strike 2 betting sites, their Cinderella run is expected to stop on Friday.

M80 enter the first round of the BLAST Open Fall finals as +275 underdogs to derail MOUZ, who remain one of the leading candidates to claim the title.

However, their run through the closed qualifiers was anything but inspiring, as MOUZ dropped a map against Imperial and suffered a crushing loss against FURIA.

M80 were not perfect either, but they took a map from Vitality and eliminated Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, and Fnatic. Admittedly, the German-North American roster defeated only one good team (NAVI), but their close game against Vitality counts for something.

M80 deserve a lot of praise for what they’ve shown in the qualifiers, but winning online and doing so in front of a crowd are two entirely different things. MOUZ are much more experienced on LAN, which should show.

FAZE CLAN vs G2 ESPORTS

Best Odds: FaZe -120.48 at BetOnline | G2 -117.65 at BetOnline

FaZe Clan fought their way through the online stage with wins against ECSTATIC and Natus Vincere. G2 Esports took down Team Liquid and FlyQuest before beating Team Spirit in the Group B lower-bracket finals, which was one of their most impressive victories in recent months.

Despite not winning their respective groups, both sides produced promising result in the qualifiers.

G2 Esports demonstrated impressive synergy with their new-look lineup. Meanwhile, FaZe Clan have done an excellent job incorporating Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski, despite the young Pole posting a modest 0.99 performance average in qualifying.

This looks like a coin-flip match, as neither team have found much success on LAN this season and there are still many unanswered questions about how high the two new rosters can fly. Take the overs on total maps.
