Miami Heretics reinstated Eric “EriKBooM” Ferrer to the main roster last week following an abysmal run at CDL Major 1, where the Heretics placed last. At the Major, Miami suffered two 0-3 losses against OpTic Texas and Las Vegas Legion, which was shocking considering their solid run through the qualifiers.
One bad Major run doesn’t prove much, and by re-adding EriKBooM to the main lineup, Miami Heretics are bound to find more traction. However, they’re not expected to do well on Friday.
Toronto Ultra are fresh off a dominant title run at CDL Major 1, where they crushed Seattle Surge, Minnesota RØKKR and Atlanta FaZe (twice) to prove that they’re miles ahead of any other team. At the offered CoD esports betting odds, however, backing Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst and co. doesn’t offer much value.
Miami Heretics are stronger than what they showed last month and more than capable of stealing one map off Toronto Ultra.

Carolina Royal Ravens announced the permanent signing of Thomas “TJHaLy” Haly at the start of February, which isn’t surprising. TJHaLy performed well at the Major, and while the Royal Ravens couldn’t reach very far, they played well against Seattle Surge and New York Subliners.
Even though their 3-1 victory over the Subliners can be considered a fluke, it doesn’t make much sense to see Royal Ravens priced at +609 with BetOnline for the rematch. New York are individually much stronger, but they didn’t show anything inspiring last month, so it’s fair to question their chances to dominate the Royal Ravens on Friday.
We like Carolina with a 2.5-map advantage, while some might want to consider a smaller position on the underdogs to win. The Royal Ravens are way overpriced given how the New York Subliners played at CDL Major 1.
