BNK FEARX vs JD GAMING

JD Gaming qualified for the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational playoffs by the skin of their teeth, as they had to play all four rounds in the Swiss Stage. There, they lost to HAJIN BRION and LGD Gaming, and defeated Shopify Rebellion and Natus Vincere in the decider.

The latter game extended to three maps, with Natus Vincere snowballing an early lead. JD Gaming had to dig deep on the second map to come out ahead and dominated the third map.

JD Gaming we’ve seen in this event are not the same JDG. Not only because they’re playing with two stand-ins, but also in how they approach their games. This iteration with mid laner Xiang “Angel” Tao and jungler Fang “xiaofang” Zhe-Yu, plays with a lot more tempo than the slow, scaling JDG that everyone got used to.

While they have some wrinkles to iron out, mainly synergy between the two players and the rest of the team and consequently the drafting, this version of JD Gaming looks potent.

BNK FEARX did not have a hard time making it through the group stage, beating Team Vitality and LGD Gaming with relative ease. They dominated both Vitality and LGD but showed cracks in the latter game, with questionable late-game decision-making.

BNK FEARX have been getting the job done, but they have been making poor decisions for which they will be punished sooner rather than later. While this iteration of JD Gaming does not look to be at 100% yet, they are an inviting outsider pick, considering BNK FEARX’s weaknesses.

KT ROLSTER vs TEAM VITALITY

Priced at $1.08 on the top-rated League of Legends bookmakers, KT Rolster are given a 9.26% implied probability of beating Team Vitality on Monday. This is a massive number for a match between two strong teams.

Team Vitality qualified for the Demacia Cup Global Invitational playoffs with one loss against BNK FEARX and wins against GAM Esports and RED Canids. They’ve done well to establish themselves as potential title contenders, but with two wins against lesser squads, Vitality still have a lot to prove.

KT Rolster cruised through the group stage, beating Shopify Rebellion and RED Canids. While expected, KT, much like Vitality, did not beat any great teams on their path to the final eight, granted they still have a lot of respect as a team who have had their moments in the final split of LoL Champions Korea.

KT Rolster are the better team, but the real question is how much better. Team Vitality looked iffy in LoL EMEA Championship playoffs, but they’ve done well during the regular season and have produced some very solid games.

At $1.66, Vitality to win at least one map is hard to pass on. KT Rolster should be the main title contenders in this event, but they are known to make errors in the late game, and that could leave big openings for Vitality to take a bite out of the Korean squad.
