1win sign Timofey “interz” Yakushin to CS2 roster – August 8, 2025

The support star reunites with top-tier CS2 as 1win aim to rebuild and climb Valve Regional Standings after a tough 2024–25 stretch.

CS2 news

On Friday, 1win Team welcomed Timofey “interz” Yakushin as the latest addition to their Counter-Strike 2 roster and replacement for Semyon “Goody” Chayka.

By joining 1win, interz is set to return to action after six months, having been without a team
since leaving Cloud9 for the second time in January.

That stint was rather turbulent, as Cloud9 struggled to find their footing in the upper echelons of competitive CS2, with just one gold medal from the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 European Series #2.

The team’s lackluster results were also reflected in interz’s individual performances, with a 0.90 performance rating over the six months.

Despite the lack of success in the last years of his career, interz is considered one of the best support players in the scene, having made a name for himself in 2020-2022 at Gambit Esports.

With the Russian team, he won a plethora of big events, including BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2021, Intel Extreme Masters XVI Summer, and the IEM XV World Championship during the online era, before Gambit sold their roster to Cloud9.

At 1win, interz will play a key part in the team’s attempt to climb up the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), having been outside of the top 100 since the disbandment of the previous roster in late 2024.

1win have no confirmed matches on their schedule; however, they are involved in the European ESEA Season 54: Advanced Division, where they occupy the top position, with a 5- 1 record and +31 round differential.

Interz is likely to debut at ESEA, marking his first appearance since the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
