YaLLa Compass Dubai 2025 could be scrapped due to the event organizer’s mounting financial problems.

Counter-Strike 2 esports tournament organizer YaLLa Compass posted a cryptic message on X on Wednesday, hinting that the company is in serious trouble.

The Dubai-based esports company stated that the “YaLLa Compass journey has come to an end” without providing any further details.

While YaLLa Compass has not publicly announced anything about the future of the company, reports suggest that it has filed for bankruptcy.

The theory has some basis, with Alexandru “s0und” Ștefan of Nexus Gaming stating he is still owed money from YaLLa Compass.

This is likely from his team’s participation at YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025, where Nexus placed top six and earned US$7,500 in tournament winnings.

Counter-Strike host and caster Pavlos “ExWarrior” Georgiou made a similar post, urging YaLLa Compass to pay its staff, production, casters, and teams.

The announcement did not include any details about YaLLa Compass Dubai 2025, scheduled for November 19-23, with a $600,000 prize pool.

Founded in 2016, the organizer has since hosted just one LAN event – YaLLa Compass 2024 – which welcomed 12 Counter-Strike teams at Space 42 Arena in Dubai.

In April, the company planned to host its second LAN event — YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 — but decided to move it to an online setting due to the scheduling conflict with BLAST.tv Austin Major regional qualifiers.

While the company has yet to make a public statement about its future, it seems likely that YaLLa Compass Dubai will be scrapped from the calendar, making Skyesports Masters 2025 the final event Tier 1 of the year.
