VCT China Stage 2 groups announced

The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 China Stage 2 groups were announced on Sunday, following the conclusion of Stage 1.

For the final stage of the 2025 VALORANT esports season, the Chinese groups have been rearranged, again dividing the 12 teams into two groups of six — as opposed to last year, when VCT China Stage 2 had only one group of 11 squads.

The seeding for Stage 2 groups was determined based on the team’s results in Stage 1, and a random draw decided which seeds would swap groups.

The VCT 2025 China Stage 2 groups were announced after the conclusion of Stage 1, which was won by XLG Esports, who completed their Cinderella Story with a 3-1 victory over Bilibili Gaming.

XLG Esports kicked off Stage 1 with a strong showing in the group stage, where they clinched No.2 seed with a 4-1 record and +27 round differential.

Ran “Viva” Lifan and co. kept the momentum going in the playoffs, producing a perfect run through the upper bracket and sweeping Nova Esports, EDward Gaming, and Wolves Esports before beating BLG in closely contested finals.

By winning VCT 2025 China Stage 1, XLG Esports will head to VALORANT Masters Toronto as China’s first seed, alongside Bilibili Gaming and Wolves Esports as the other two representatives.
