Following the conclusion of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2026 Pacific Kickoff event, the league announced group seeding for Stage 1, which begins in April.
The VCT Pacific Kickoff tournament concluded on Sunday, February 15, with the lower-bracket final between Paper Rex and Rex Regum Qeon.
With Paper Rex getting their revenge against RRQ in a closely-fought 3-1 victory, they joined T1 and Nongshim RedForce as one of three VALORANT teams to represent VCT Pacific at Masters Santiago.
With that, the final order of Pacific VALORANT teams has been set, dictating the seeding for Stage 1.
Scheduled to begin on April 3, following the conclusion of VALORANT Masters Santiago, VCT Pacific Stage 1 will feature a changed format, moving away from a single-elimination bracket used in the Kickoff event.
Stage 1 action will begin with two single-round robin groups of six teams, who have been seeded into either Group Alpha or Omega based on their final placement in the Kickoff to ensure balance.
The draw paired Paper Rex with Nongshim RedForce, DRX, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports, and Team Secret in Group Alpha.
Group Omega, on the other side, will feature T1, Rex Regum Qeon, DetonatioN FocusMe, FULL SENSE, ZETA DIVISION, and VARREL.
VCT Pacific Stage 1 group stage will play out in a best-of-three series to determine which four squads per group will proceed to the playoffs.
Group stage winners receive a bye to the upper bracket semifinals, while the second and third-place teams advance to Round 1 of the upper bracket. Fourth-placed teams will start the playoffs from the lower bracket.
The playoffs are double-elimination, with all matches best-of-three except the grand finals, which are best-of-five.
With over a month separating us from the start of VCT Pacific Stage 1, VALORANT bookmakers have yet to open outright markets for the tournament. Those are expected to become available towards the end of March, after the Masters Santiago champions are crowned.
