Cloud9 defeated FURIA 2-0 in VCT Americas Stage 1, and according to the latest odds on the top VALORANT betting sites, they are expected to be just as successful in the opening week of Stage 2.
FURIA have made significant roster changes since Stage 1, adding four new players: Luiz “basic” Tessaro, Davi “Palla” Alcides, Victor “Urango” Rodrigues, and Arthur “tuyz” Vieira. The new-look roster featured in the Esports World Cup 2025 qualifiers and the Tixinha & Sacy Invitational but failed to achieve much, finishing ninth and third, respectively.
FURIA seem stronger than they were in the first stage of the season, but they are unlikely to compete for top spots. Cloud9 are in a better position to fight for an invite to VALORANT Champions; however, their performance at the Americas EWC qualifier does not inspire much confidence.
Cloud9 should win, but there is a good chance they drop one map.

Leviatan are slight favourites to begin their VCT 2025 Americas Stage 2 campaign with a win against LOUD in the South American derby.
Leviatan did not accomplish much in Stage 1, finishing in 9th-10th place with a 1-4 record. They have since strengthened their roster with ex-M80 duo Anthony “okeanos” Nguyen and Eduardo “Sato” Sato.
LOUD decided to go international in June with the signing of Robbie “RobbieBk” Boerkamp and Leandro “Virtyy” Moreno –formerly of Gentle Mates and FUSION, respectively.
Even though neither team have made enough improvement to compete for the VCT Americas title, Leviatan looked good earlier this month during Tixinha & Sacy Invitational. LOUD, on the other hand, have yet to play an official match since April.
At -138.89 with the best esports betting sites, Leviatan are an excellent pick against the rusty LOUD.
