VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 Americas Stage 1 kicks off on Friday, March 21, as Cloud9 face off against NRG, followed by a clash between KRU Esports and LOUD. Here are our VALORANT betting picks for the two games, with esports odds courtesy of the top bookmakers in United States.

NRG added two new members ahead of VCT 2025 Stage 1, including former 100 Thieves coach Michael “Mikes” Hockom and VCT rookie Brock “brawk” Somerhalder. Cloud9, on the other side, decided to run it back with the same lineup despite their uninspiring last-place finish in the Kickoff tournament.

Cloud9 defeated NRG 2-0 in the first match of the season, but according to the top VALORANT betting sites, NRG should get their revenge. NRG performed better in VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff, albeit only marginally, with a 2-1 win against 100 Thieves and a 1-2 loss to KRU Esports, so the offered price does not make a lot of sense.

Past results do not mean much, as neither team have played a game in over a month, and we do not know whether NRG’s changes will help them improve. On paper, NRG look better than they did in the Kickoff tournament, but until we see them perform, it is hard to make a case for them at -200.

KRU ESPORTS vs LOUD VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: KRU -142.86 at BetOnline | LOUD +108 at BetOnline

KRU Esports placed fourth in the VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff, one step above LOUD, who KRU Esports defeated 2-0 in the lower-bracket quarterfinals. LOUD won their first meeting of the season 2-0 in the upper-bracket quarterfinals.

Both games were very competitive, as LOUD won with 13-7 on Haven and 13-10 on Split, while KRU got their revenge with 13-5 on Bind and 13-11 on Haven. For the third clash, KRU are expected to recreate their result from early February, as they ramped up towards the end of the Kickoff and performed well despite some sickness within the team.

LOUD are not to be underestimated, but KRU have made a strong case for themselves as one of the top three contenders in VCT Americas. If they can continue where they left off, KRU Esports should start Stage 1 with a win.
