Thunderpick World Championships playoff bracket set and odds update

The CS2 Thunderpick World Championships has reached the Playoffs stage, with two powerhouses shaping up to meet each other in the final.

MongolZ avance to brackets stage at Thunderpick World Championship

The MongolZ booked their Thunderpick World Championship Playoffs spot on Friday after being forced to travel the tough route via Group A.

The pre-tournament favourite lost the Winners match to FURIA 2-0 but after winning their opening match against 9z, it was enough to get them a berth in the Decider against the same team, which they won easily 2-0.

The Mongolz now face the unbeaten Navus Vincere in their semi-final, with both teams priced at -114.94 to win, it looms as a outstanding battle between two teams hopeful of strong showings at the PGL Bucharest Major next week

Aurora Gaming were Group B’s winning team from the Decider match, beating Team Venom 2-1, in what was an intriguing battle.

AG (+130) are now underdogs for their semi-final against Group A winners FURIA (-175.44), who advanced through their Group fixtures without dropping a match.

Counter-Strike 2 betting sites have got numerous markets available on the TWC Playoffs, including head to head odds, handicaps and even player props.

Mongolz ease past 9z to book TWC playoffs spot

The Mongolz cruised past 9z 2-0 in their Decider match, claiming Nuke 13-7 and Ancient 13-11. Sodbayar ‘Techno’ Munkhbold led the scoreboard with 41 kills and a 1.35 rating, backed by Garidmagnai ‘bLitz’ Byambasuren’s 1.26. Senzu added consistency with 36 frags, giving Mongolz dominant firepower throughout. For 9z, David ‘dav1deuS’ Tapia performed decently, but teammates fell flat—particularly dgt, who finished with a negative K/D across both maps. The result highlights Mongolz’s tactical sharpness and individual brilliance, solidifying their run at Thunderpick and reaffirming their position as Asia’s strongest CS2 side.

Aurora defeat Venom to setup NaVi clash

Aurora edged out Venom 2-1 in the Group B decider, taking Nuke 13-2, dropping Overpass 13-4, and closing it on Mirage 13-6. Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalçın was the standout—he posted 55 kills with a +27 K/D differential and a 1.76 rating across all maps. XANTARES chipped in strongly too, finishing at 41 kills and a 1.37 rating. On Venom’s side, innocent struggled, managing just 25 kills with a –15 differential and a 0.74 rating — a tough night for the Polish veteran.
