Team Vitality announced the arrival of ex-Fnatic VALORANT player Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov on Saturday, completing the biggest signing of the off-season.

Chronicle joins Team Vitality after a three-year-long stay with Fnatic where he dominated the regional VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), helping turn Fnatic into one of the most revered squads in the world, with three regional and two international titles, and a silver medal from VALORANT Champions 2025.

Even before putting on Fnatic’s jersey, Chronicle has made a name for himself as one of the best players in the world. He was one of the key players on Gambit Esports, with whom he placed second at VALORANT Champions 2021.

Known for his Breach, Viper, and Vyse, Chronicle now joins Team Vitality, who are in the process of assembling a new EMEA superteam after an underwhelming year.

Despite a strong start to the season, which saw the Bees win the VCT EMEA Kickoff event and place fourth at Masters Bangkok, Vitality have failed to find much traction for the remainder of the year.

Since their deep run in Thailand, Team Vitality have managed two seventh-eighth place finishes in VCT EMEA Stage 1 and 2, and an early elimination (seventh-eighth) from the Esports World Cup EMEA Qualifier.

At Team Vitality, Chronicle will join forces with his former teammate Fnatic Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev, as well as Kimmie “Kicks” Laasner, Felipe “Less” Basso, Ștefan “Sayonara” Mîtcu, and substitute Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel.

With the departure of Chronicle, Fnatic are down to four active players on their VALORANT roster, with no announcements on whether they have found a replacement to fill in the massive void.
