The final four are locked in for the StarCraft II Esports World Cup, and the competition is about to go full throttle.
Finland’s Joona “Serral” Sotala remains the tournament favourite, but three Korean contenders are aiming to deny him a second world crown.
Here’s our betting breakdown for the semifinals in the Esports World Cup, with odds from top bookmakers in United States.
Best Odds: Serral -833.33 at BetOnline | Cure +380 at SportsBetting

Serral remains the overwhelming favourite after taking down Riccardo “Reynor” Romiti in a tight 3-2, maintaining his unbeaten run through the upper bracket. His ZvT is statistically near-perfect, and his reactive control makes him a nightmare opponent in best-of-seven matchups.
But Kim “Cure” Doh-wook showed poise and sharp execution in his 3-1 upset of Cho “Maru” Seong-ju. He thrives when given space to build tempo and has historically shown he can punch up in extended formats. In a best-of-seven, where momentum can shift fast, Cure’s calculated builds and clean engagements give him sneaky upset potential — especially at this price.
Best Odds: Solar -102.04 at BetOnline | Classic -147.06 at SportsBetting
When: July 25, 2025 | 14:00 AST

This is the tighter of the two semis — and arguably the most unpredictable. Kang “Solar” Min-soo crushed Kim “herO” Joon-ho 3-0 in the quarters, dominating with map control and surgical ZvP engagements. His ability to adapt between swarm and macro styles gives him serious flexibility over seven maps.
Kim “Classic” Doh-woo swept Clément “Clem” Desplanches 3-0 in a dominant performance. While his PvZ fundamentals are elite, this matchup will likely come down to timings and clutch fights — and Solar is playing clean StarCraft right now.
With the odds leaning toward Classic, there’s strong value in siding with the Zerg here.
