Paper Rex are firm favourites to stop Wolves Esports’ Cinderella run when they meet in the VALORANT Masters Toronto semifinals this Friday.

The VCT Pacific representatives have been on a roll since the conclusion of VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1. They have won 10 of 12 games played, which includes 2-0 sweeps of G2 Esports and Sentinels in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

Wolves Esports have been just as impressive. They made it through the Swiss Stage with a 2-1 record and added two remarkable victories against Rex Regum Qeon and Gen.G Esports during their upper-bracket run.

The Chinese VALORANT team have been the biggest surprise of the Toronto Masters. With momentum on their side, they look more than ready to leave a dent in Paper Rex; however, there are some questions regarding their map pool.
