OG will step in at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025 after TYLOO decided to skip the Counter-Strike 2 event in Malta.

Closed qualifiers for the S-Tier tournament are scheduled to commence on August 5, featuring 32 of the world’s best CS2 teams.

However, as announced on Wednesday, that list no longer includes TYLOO, who decided to withdraw with no reason given.

TYLOO’s decision is likely due to their packed schedule, with the Chinese outfit now in the midst of a third consecutive tournament on foreign soil.

After competing at the BLAST.tv Austin Major in the United States and FISSURE Playground #1 in Serbia, Wang “Mercury” Jingxiang and co. are now in Germany for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025.

Attending BLAST Bounty Fall 2025 would prolong TYLOO’s stay in Europe and leave them little time to prepare for the Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup, scheduled to begin on August 20.

Their replacement, OG, received an invite from BLAST as the next-best team on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).
