Fnatic will now need to qualify for the grand final via the lower bracket where they will face DRX, who were impressive in defeating Paper Rex 2-0 in the lower bracket semi-final.
DRX pushed Fnatic all the way in their first bracket match of the VCT event, eventually losing 2-1, but they will be confident about turning the tables on their opponent.
The DRX-Fnatic match-up has been priced at even money by esports betting sites, with both sides at 1.83 to win and advance through to a bumper clash against NRG.

NRG stunned Fnatic in the upper-bracket final of VALORANT Champions 2025, claiming a 2-0 sweep to secure their spot in the grand final. The North Americans silenced doubters with a composed 14-12 overtime win on Ascent, before dismantling Fnatic 13-5 on Abyss.
The statistics told the story of NRG’s dominance. Skuba was immense, leading all players with a 238 ACS and a 39/22/10 KDA, while also averaging 151 ADR. His aggressive utility use on Vyse helped NRG control map space throughout the series. Brawk also shone with 230 ACS, 34 kills, and an eye-catching 88.6% KAST, demonstrating just how effective his Sova play was in setting up teammates.
Supporting firepower came from s0m (33/28/16, 211 ACS) and mada, who delivered consistent fragging pressure despite an even KDA. Veteran Ethan brought stability, hitting a 79.5% KAST alongside 26 kills. NRG’s collective clutch ability was particularly decisive, as they converted multiple tight rounds to break Fnatic’s rhythm.
Fnatic’s stars were muted by comparison, with Kaajak’s 208 ACS the best of a team that struggled to match NRG’s pace. Chronicle and Alfajer were unable to tilt momentum back, as NRG’s layered executions proved too efficient.
This result propels NRG into the grand final with confidence, while Fnatic drop to the lower bracket searching for answers.

Meanwhile, HYUNMIN and BeYN supplemented with crucial utility usage, assisting site executes and defense rotations. On the opponent’s side, attempts to regain map control were stymied by DRX’s coordination in post-plant scenarios and strong clutch rounds.

This victory not only propelled DRX into a high-stakes lower-bracket final, it also highlighted their ability to perform under pressure and match it with a quality outfit.
