The first matchup this Thursday is between two teams who just sit below the middle of the standings with identical records of 6-7. Oh My God came into the split with all guns blazing by rattling off three straight wins, but then they went on to lose seven of their next 10 games in similar fashion. To finish the day we have a series that has two teams from the bottom four. All of the remaining games for Invictus Gaming are must-wins, and they will need some results to fall their way to sneak into the playoffs. For Team WE, these remaining games present as nothing-to-lose type of fixtures.
IG currently sit in 13th position with a record of 4-8. They have won three of their last seven games, including two wins over eighth-placed Bilibili Gaming and seventh-placed JD Gaming, which is massive for their confidence.
As for Team WE, it has been hard to find some positives for a side sitting in last place with a 1-11 record. One positive that we can take from the last six matches is that they have taken four series to a third map.
