ESB’s free League of Legends betting predictions for Tuesday, February 21, focus on a pair of LoL Pro League (LPL) 2023 Spring bouts. Here are our selections for Oh My God vs Ultra Prime and Weibo Gaming vs Invictus Gaming, with the best LoL esports betting odds courtesy of BetOnline.

OH MY GOD vs ULTRA PRIME LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: OMG -714.29 at BetOnline | UP +275 at BetOnline
When: February 21, 2023 | 17:00 CST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Oh My God are 3-3 with wins against Team WE (2-0), LGD Gaming (2-0), and ThunderTalk Gaming (2-0) and losses against Royal Never Give Up (0-2), LNG Esports (1-2), and Rare Atom (1-2). Although not a perfect record, OMG have shown great qualities and looked very good in their loss against LNG in Week 4.

Ultra Prime are 2-5 and their only wins have come against two of the weakest teams in the league – Anyone’s Legend (2-1) and LGD Gaming (2-0) – but they’ve also lost against FunPlus Phoenix (2-1). With those results, it’s hard to argue that Ultra Prime are a bottom-five team.

They’ve won just two series despite having a very easy schedule, and unless something drastically changes, UP can end the season without adding another victory to their name. OMG are a mid-table team at best, but they’re individually better than UP and ahead across all performance metrics, including gold differential per minute (1809 v -142).

WEIBO GAMING vs INVICTUS GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Weibo -188.68 at BetOnline | IG +137 at BetOnline
When: February 21, 2023 | 19:00 CST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Ahead of Week 5 of LPL 2023 Spring, Invictus Gaming had a 5-1 record, but then lost two games against Top Esports (1-2) and JD Gaming (0-2). Although losing to TES and EDG isn’t too concerning, we expected a bit more from IG following their explosive start to the season.

In hindsight, IG didn’t have that many great wins to their name, mainly because their schedule wasn’t that tough. Another thing to note about IG is that their bottom lane looks weak, but at least they have top laner Chau “YSKM” Shu Tak, who gives them a lane to play through.

Invictus Gaming can end the season strong if the meta shifts more towards carry top-laners, but even if not, a solid upper-mid table finish is a realistic expectation.

Weibo Gaming are 4-2 with wins against Top Esports (2-1) and JD Gaming (2-1), but they’ve also lost against Bilibili Gaming (2-1) and ThunderTalk Gaming (0-2), suggesting they like to play to the level of their opponents. Despite those losses, Weibo Gaming are a very strong team and, with the roster they have, should be a top-three team in the LPL.

Knowing that IG like to play through top, we should be in for an exciting series since you never know what to expect from Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok. Still, the former world champion has proved he can play weak side extremely well, which could be the main reason why Weibo will defeat IG. And there’s also a world where WBG crush IG through the bottom lane.
