What is the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters

Unlike most major events on the Dota 2 esports calendar, the Riyadh Masters will have no bearing or impact on the 2024 Dota 2 season, as the top eight teams are chosen based on the EPT Ranking System, while the remaining 12 spots are filled by qualifiers from different regions.

After a successful 2023 Riyadh Masters, the organizers of the Esports World Cup locked in the Dota 2 event early on. The Riyadh Masters will boast one of the highest prize pools in all of esports, with a huge US$5 million up for grabs.
