Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh announced his retirement from professional League of Legends on Tuesday, November 18, ending his nine-year-long career.
On his 28th birthday, Levi decided to hang up his mouse and keyboard, finishing a successful career that saw him win 10
Vietnam Championship Series (VCS) titles.
Levi started his professional career in 2016 with Hanoi SkyRed and at the end of the year, signed for GIGABYTE Marines (now GAM Esports) – a team he would end up calling home for the majority of his career.
Soon, Levi made a name for himself as a highly mechanically skilled jungler, and over the years, he has earned the tag of one of the region’s most recognizable players.
With GIGABYTE Marines, Levi won The Garena Premier League (GPL) 2017 Spring and Summer, securing his first international appearances at the Mid-Season Invitational and the LoL World Championship.
After a short stint with 100 Thieves Academy in 2018, Levi joined JD Gaming, but struggled to adapt to the new environment.
He eventually rejoined GAM Esports for the VCS Summer 2019 and the same season secured his second LoL Worlds
appearance.
Over the next six years, Levi remained with GAM Esports, helping them win seven straight VCS titles and three World
Championship tickets.
Levi’s run of winning back-to-back domestic titles ended in 2025, following the VCS’s integration into the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP).
However, the team still found success, with a second-place finish in LCP Mid-Season and a fourth-place finish in LCK Season Finals – narrowly missing LoL Worlds 2025.
In his retirement video, Levi shared his plans for the future, stating he will become a full-time streamer and LoL content creator.
While his intention is to switch to content creation, Levi is not ruling out entering another competitive scene, namely Teamfight Tactics.
Levi’s retirement leaves GAM Esports with a huge void in the jungle position ahead of the next season. However, they will have many available options in the transfer market, including the 2018 MSI champion Hung “Karsa” Hau-hsuan, who was recently let go from TALON who got removed from the LCP due to financial issues.
